I know I already said I made these cookies for the Super Bowl (actually for myself for the week, 
) but I think it bears repeating because they were SO GOOD. I hadn’t tasted them yet when I said I made them and I just wanted to confirm that they are indeed delicious.
I’m probably going to have to make another batch before the week is up.
This was my view for the game last night, fuzzy blanket and a glass of Queen of Hearts Cabernet Sauvignon that Mike picked up for me. Don’t get me wrong, tailgating and all that is fun and whatnot, but this is probably my favorite way to enjoy a football game.
Can’t complain about that!
The game was fine, got entertaining at the end and I didn’t really even like that many of the commercials. I would say my favorite would have to be the Budweiser one about the Clydesdale…yeah that one almost made me tear up. Such a sucker for animals. Side note—did anyone watch the Puppy Bowl? I die at the cuteness. It’s hard to handle, really. The Taco Bell one was pretty funny…I’m sure there are others but I can’t remember. And the GoDaddy.com commercial made me actually gag. Beyonce was amazing at halftime I thought! She definitely killed it. Best halftime show I can remember in a long time.
Up early to start the week this morning, which was hard after getting to bed much later than my bedtime, but that’s okay.
A coffee and protein pancake helped me wake up and make this day and this week positive.
Gotta write out my workouts for the week soon as well!

I spent the super bowl doing exactly what you did – minus the cookies! That Go Daddy commercial was awkward and ridiculous… I hope they don’t repeat themselves next year.
Oh that looks like such a lovely way to enjoy the game. This game was long and I was ready for bed by the end of half time! But I wasn’t a huge fan of the commercials. I think the Montana stain was really really good though. Might be the favorite! Or just a subliminal message that I really need to do my laundry.
