Yesterday I had one of those afternoons that is busy, but busy all with things you like to do. As soon as I got back from work Maverick was just sitting by the front door so I knew he wanted to go on a walk. I had just enough time to squeeze in a 1 mile walk with him before heading to the gym to complete Cupid’s Cardio on the elliptical (got 4 miles in on it) and 75 minutes of hot power vinyasa yoga after that. It was my happy place
After my workouts, I grabbed a quick salad bar and piled so much into it for my dinner–and only half of it was eaten meaning the rest is my lunch today! Love when that happens. In the mix was kale, carrots, tomatoes, mushrooms, zucchini, beets, artichokes, quinoa, chickpeas, peppers, probably some other stuff that I’m forgetting, all topped with a drizzle of organic roasted red pepper dressing.
Also, sidenote, I don’t have a picture but I had the new Chobani pear flavor last night for dessert and it is amazingly delicious.
This morning I was up to get in 40 minutes of toning & cinching with the TIU Beach Babe Bikini Sculpt DVD.
It’s a full-body toning routine and it pretty much rocks.
I was feeling like a total beach babe, dreaming about the waves and the sunshine…ahh….
…until I stepped outside…
Not the beach.
Oh well. Warmer weather will be here soon I suppose! Fingers crossed. I want to wear shorts and have tan skin like nobody’s business.
The closest thing I have to warm weather right now is hot yoga. And I’ll be going again tonight.
