Going to bed last night under lots of cozy covers as the snow was still falling was so glorious. I slept like a rock!
Today’s weather was still cold but super sunny, not a cloud in the sky! Mike and I started the day with a trip to Manhattan Bagel for some quick breakfast.
I got a California Power Bagel (protein packed!), coffee, and some oatmeal. I was really excited to see that they had oatmeal but unfortunately I saw them make it, and it was just a pack of Quaker Instant Oats that they poured hot water on top of…eh. I know now not to order oats from there anymore! Although its better than some options, I try to avoid the processed instant oats if possible.
I added some sliced banana when I got home and ended up only eating half of the oatmeal because I guess the middle part didn’t get the hot water and it was still dry and uncooked. Yucky.
We’ve had a pretty easy day around here, basically just watching football and relaxing. I made us both some sweet potatoes, brown rice, and egg whites (for me) for lunch…
Mid afternoon snack…
At halftime of this football game we took Maverick on a short walk around a few blocks and came home to another crock pot meal that has been cooking most of the day.
Chicken, peas, broccoli, and spinach with the world’s most delicious roll from my Auntie Helen.
Then had a little piece of dark chocolate for dessert!
Even though today is Sunday and I took a day off from working out, I was on Pinterest basically all day and found lots of FIT-spiration pictures to get me ready and motivated to workout hard this week! So ready!
