I got to the gym after work last night to find that all the StairMasters were taken. Seriously? That never happens. The ellipticals and treadmills? Sure that happens sometimes. But the StairMaster? This might have been a first. In its defense, I think it’s highly underrated and should be used more often, just not when I want to be using it ;)
So I did an easy 1 mile warm up run on the treadmill while I waited for a machine to open up. Apparently a couple was doing their stairs together so they finished at the same time…cuteeeee.
Once I got on my machine, this is what I did:
It was a 40 minute workout and I feel my quads, hamstrings, and booty today…and I like it! I crave that sore feeling. Makes me feel I’ve done something right. And with summer around the corner (eeee!) I’m trying to make sure I’m bikini-ready. I finished up with some core work with my forever favorite Bosu Ball.
Today’s workout, however, is TBD! I usually like to plan, but some spontaneity is good too. We’ll see how I feel later on!
