Infused Water

I love water.  I try to drink at least 90oz of water a day, and I certainly don’t mind if it’s plain water.  But some people don’t like drinking water plain, and sometimes it’s nice to change things up a little bit.

How’s that pic for some infused water inspiration?! Yummyyyyy.

I enjoy a variety of combos, and truth be told it’s hard to go wrong.  I especially like being able to eat the fruit after the water is all gone!

Here are some of the combos I personally enjoy:

  • Raspberry + Lemon
  • Lemon + Lime
  • Strawberries + Blueberries
  • Orange + Grapefruit
  • Blueberries + Mint

Sometime I think I’d really like to try adding pineapple and/or watermelon.  Or blackberries!  That would be so good in the summer!  I’m already thinking ahead to that :)

What combos do you think you would like?

Yum! those combos sound great. I need to do more of this. I love doing it with seltzer too. :-)

Those combos sound so good!! Do you crush the blueberries before adding them to the water?

either way! I think if you muddled them a bit (like a cocktail) it could help more of the juices out into the water :)

Great infused flavored combos… one that I really enjoy and find refreshing after a run is fresh basil and lemon or cucumber, ginger, and mint.
