My day has pretty much revolved around one thing.



Both practicing and reading. I’m starting the above book today (not finished with Spirit Junkie yet but sometimes I like reading more than one book at once) and I’m eager to see what it has to say and what I can learn.
Was able to straighten my leg in birds of paradise this morning. My flexibility is really starting to make big improvements I think. I feel like I’ve broken through a plateau and I’m starting to feel a lot more open than ever. The mind-body connection in yoga is what I love the most and when my body feels open physically my mind and heart feel open as well. It’s hard to describe but if you practice I’m sure you know what I mean

Now planning out my week’s workouts and some meal ideas…and getting a walk with Maverick a little later. Maybe painting again if I have time.

I need to start doing yoga. ASAP. I know I need to do it and that I will love it. I just need to go. I’m so inflexible and have back problems.
Congrats on getting your leg straight in bird of paradise!! I am still working on that, just two weeks ago I was able to get to the middle photo above on each side. I was so proud of myself. It is so much fun to see progress in yoga or any exercise. Congrats again!!
