40-Minute Full Body Toning & Cardio Workout

Good morning!

I am in the mood to have a productive day.  I love when that happens so I hope I’m able to check lots of things off of my to-do list.  The good news is, I’ve already checked off my workout for day!  I got up before work to get in a sweat sesh.  Below you’ll find my 40 minute workout that I did this morning.  It requires minimal equipment and you could probably do it without if necessary.  If you don’t have a kettlebell (go get one!) then you can use a dumbbell for the kettlebell swings and just hold it vertically.  Seriously though, think about investing in a KB.  I just got a new one from Target and did a workout on Sunday morning that I am still sore from! That may or may not be this Be Fit Friday’s workout, hint hint ;)

I think the rest is pretty self-explanatory, but as always feel free to ask if you have any questions!

The workout lasted about 40 minutes.  I have appointments after work today but I’m hoping I have time for a walk/jog (wog?) with Mav this evening.

Afterwards I had my hot lemon water (on a kick for this stuff), coffee, and breakfast.


Nonfat greek yogurt with mangos, dried cranberries, and nut mix.  I used nonfat greek yogurt today because it’s what I had left in my fridge but I have been loving the 2% greek yogurt.  So much tastier :)

Another great workout I want to try. That yogurt bowl has me drooling.. love yogurt bowls in the spring :)

My gym has kettlebells and I usually use 30lb when I do my kettlebell swings. What do you use? What would you suggest for this workout?

30lbs is great if that’s what you normally do! I wish I could have various weights but I chose a 15lb to have at home so it’s versatile for more things. Since it was lighter and I was going for time, I could go a bit faster (still maintaining proper form) but if you can do it with 30lbs that’s awesome. Whatever feels right for you!

My kettle bell might be the best fitness investment I’ve ever made. I love it! I wish I had more than one so I could change up my weight when I’m working out at home but I just save that for when I’m at the gym.

Can’t wait to try this routine! I’m seriously loving all of the workouts you’ve been posting lately.

Quick question- what program do you use to create your workouts? They’re always so pretty! I’ve been using powerpoint (weird, I know!) then exporting the finished product but I feel like there must be a simpler way!

Mostly Photoshop, but if you don’t have that you should try picmonkey.com its a free photo editing website that I use as well!
